6 of My Favorite Podcasts
Podcasts are one of my favorite types of content. You can find a podcast on just about any topic. It comes at no surprise I’m sure, but my favorite podcast topics have to deal with personal development, mental health, and weight loss/physical health. I also enjoy topics that have to do with my career (social media and writing), relationships, and more.
I thought I’d share my favorite podcasts with you today. Whether this is your first introduction to podcasts, or you are looking for some new listens, I hope something that I share will lead you in that direction.

The GenTwenty Podcast
If you didn’t know, I am a contributor with the GenTwenty blog, so I love listening to our podcast. Nicole and Marina have had some great conversations, and interviews in the two seasons they have had. Topics on this podcast include adult friendships, careers, self-care, self-growth, and so much more. My favorite podcast episodes are GenTwenty: The Origin Story (Season 1 Episode 14), The Fear of Not Being Good Enough (Season 1 Episode 24), and Fostering Friendships As Adults (Season 2 Episode 8).
Coffee With My Ex
I’ve been a fan of The Fitness Marshall team for years, so I was excited when I found out that Caleb and Haley were starting a podcast. They are taking a break right now, but there are so many gems in their episode library. They talk about so many topics that range from serious and important like mental health, to fun and light-hearted topics like pop culture. Some of my favorite episodes are Episode 30: Launching an INCLUSIVE Clothing Brand FROM SCRATCH & why we’re emotional, Episode 28: Does The Hustle Ever End (How to avoid BURNOUT), and Episode 18: Favorite (and CRAZIEST) Tour Memories.
Detail Therapy
This podcast is from Amy Landino, who I’ve also been a fan of for a while. I found her through her YouTube channel and then decided to check out her Detail Therapy podcast. I’ve learned so many planning and productivity tools from Amy Landino. Some of the topics she discusses on her podcast are routines, books, habits, and so much more. Some of my favorite episodes are Episode 106: How To Read More Books in 2021, Episode 94: 10 Apps for a Boss (That’ll Double Productivity), and Episode 27: Chris Ducker – Time Blocking and Recovering From Burnout.
Tiny Leaps, Big Changes
I believe this is one of the first, if not THE first, podcasts I listened to. All these years and it still remains a go-to podcast when I want to listen to a podcast. That’s because not only are there a variety of topics, but the episodes are the perfect length of time. You can fit it in while washing dishes, commuting to work, making breakfast (my personal favorite time to listen to podcasts), pretty much anytime. Some of the topics that Gregg Clunis, the podcast host, discusses are mental health, careers, productivity, self care, pretty much anything you can think of. Episodes that have been the most impactful for me are Episode 478: Listen When You Feel Stuck (My Story), Episode 595: Why Change Is Inevitable, Episode 589: Why Trying (and Failing) Matters, and Episodes 708 and 709: How To Change Your Mindset Part 1 and 2.
The Mindset Mentor
This is one of my more recent podcast discoveries. I’ve loved every episode I’ve listened to so far. This is a great podcast that features all aspects of personal growth. You’ll see episodes about mindset, mental health, self-discovery, and much more. My favorite episodes are Your Comfort Zone is Killing Your Dream, The Most Important Key To Changing Your Life, and Why Your Perfectionism is Destroying Your Productivity.
The Goal Digger Podcast
This is one of my OG podcasts as well, and it’s the first place I go for my marketing learning time when I want to listen to a podcast to help with my career. The Goal Digger Podcast also has episodes on other topics as well. Some of the episodes that I love are Episode 462: My Favorite Business Tools for Every Budget, 393: The Importance of Narrowing Down Your Niche, Episode 176: The Truth About Mental Health and Entrepreneurship with Jen Gotch.
These are just some of the podcasts that I enjoy listening to. I’m discovering new favorite podcasts all of the time. If you have any show suggestions let me know in the comments so that I can check them out.
