Budding Joy Gift Guide Part 1
In case you haven’t heard, I am giving Blogmas a shot this year. If you are not familiar with what that means, check out this post. To kick things off I’m sharing a gift guide. This list has a little something for everyone. It’s so big I had to break it into two parts. Get out your wrapping paper and bows and let’s begin. Merry Blogmas everyone! Let’s get this gift guide started.

Gift Guide For Health and Fitness Lovers
Stocking Stuffers
Hairbows: These are essentials for workouts. When you are giving your all into a workout you don’t want to have to worry about your hair getting in the way.
Headbands: I have never been able to wear headbands, but I know a lot of people love wearing them during a workout.
Dry shampoo: I was late to the amazingness that is dry shampoo. I haven’t tried many different brands because when I stopped at Dove I knew this was a product I loved. Their dry shampoo makes my hair look so good after a big sweat session.
Activity tracker bands: Activity trackers, like Fitbit and Apple Watch, have become quite popular over the years. If your loved ones like customization and variety they will love getting new bands to pair with their workout gear. I just found out about these and they are definitely going on my list.
Gifts For The Workout
Yoga mat: These are an essential piece of workout equipment. They come in so many different colors, designs, and thickness.
Water bottle: It’s no secret that water is important for your health, especially for working out. This is another product that has so many options. There are small 17oz ones all the way to gallon ones. Water bottles can have inspirational quotes and trackers, or be a solid color. In my opinion, you can never have enough water bottles.
Workout outfit: While you are working your butt off you might as well look cute doing it right? Fitness lovers are all about cute and comfy workout clothes.
Gym bag: If your loved ones prefer to go to the gym, instead of working out at home, they are going to need something to carry everything in. Gym bags are the perfect solution. I currently work out at home, but I remember going to the gym in college. Having a proper gym bag would have helped a lot.
Resistance bands: For those wanting to uplevel their workout they’ll appreciate these little but mighty bands. I love the ones from Love Sweat Fitness because the colors are adorable and come in a little pouch for storage.
Gifts For The Kitchen
Meal prep containers: Odds are you have heard about meal prepping from the health and fitness lover in your life. A crucial item for meal prepping are containers to put the food in.
Cookbooks: There are many different cookbooks out there that cover any diet you can think of. You are sure to find something that suits your loved one’s needs.
Blender Bottle: If your loved one drinks a lot of protein shakes they’ll love a Blender Bottle. These are different from water bottles because they have a small wire whisk that mixes up liquids and powders that may be in the bottle. The result is a perfectly smooth and blended drink.
Protein Bars: These would make great stocking stuffers individually, or you could get a pack of them to last your loved ones for a while. My favorite is Pure Protein bars, but Rx bars and Kind bars are other popular options.
Food chopper: Anyone that does meal prep will tell you that saving time is key to a successful meal prep day. Food choppers are a way to do that.

Gift Guide For The Bullet Journalers In Your Life
Stocking Stuffers
Washi tape: These little guys come in many different colors and patterns. They are a great simple way to brighten up any page and even cover up mistakes.
Ruler: I believe rulers are essential for designing a great layout, especially if you can’t draw a straight line like me. This ruler is the perfect size for a bullet journal and would make a great stocking stuffer.
Divider tabs: These would be a great way to easily flip to a certain page, like a new month, to save the bullet journaler in your life some time.
The Essential Gifts
Dot Grid Notebook: This is a given because you need a notebook to create a bullet journal. If you have someone that is on the fence about trying bullet journaling, gifting them with a journal would be a great way to encourage them to try. The first year I used a Scribbles That Matter journal and this year I used the official bullet journal. I believe I’m going back to Scribbles That Matter for 2020. If you want to see and compare more options, check out this video from The Petite Planner.
Pencils: Everyone makes mistakes. No, I’m not singing a Hannah Montanna song. It’s true, we all mess up. Pencils are a great way to draw out layouts and make changes if any mess-ups occur before committing to it with markers and pens.
Pens: I love a great pen set, and I’m sure your bullet-journal-loving loved one does too. Some pens that I have found that works well for bullet journaling are Faber Castell pens and Papermate Inkjoy gel pens.
Markers: Markers are great for doodling, brush lettering and more. What’s great is that there are options for every budget type. From Crayola Super Tips to Tombow Brush Pens.
Highlighters: When you want to have a background to your type, highlighters are the way to do that. However, many will make the ink smear, or won’t show the ink very well. I have absolutely loved these mildliners this year. They have worked so well.
Fun Extras
Stencils: These are a great way to make layouts look decorative in a simple, easy way. If your loved one is scared to start bullet journaling because they don’t feel creative enough for it, these would make a great tool for them.
Storage Containers: If your loved one has been bullet journaling for a while now, odds are they’ve built up quite a pen and marker collection. Help them out by getting them something to store them all in.
Stickers: Like washi tape, stickers are a great way to make pages pop, especially motivational quote ones. My favorite sets have all been from The Happy Planner. I’m looking forward to buying this set for 2020.
I hope some of these products sparked a gift idea for your loved ones, or maybe you found something to add to your list. Come back tomorrow for the conclusion of the Budding Joy Gift Guide where I’ll give you ideas for your book lovers and productive loved one
