Plan Week 2019: Introduction
Welcome to the second-annual Plan Week. You can check out last year’s Plan Week here. We covered a lot last year, like goal setting, monthly planning, vision boards, etc. This year I’ve expanded the topics to health-related planning as well. Before all the fun starts tomorrow, I thought I would share a little behind-the-scenes. If you are curious about why I started Plan Week and how I came up with the topics, read on.
Why Plan Week?
I started Plan Week last December. While I wasn’t sure if this would be a yearly series, I was hoping it would be.
It’s the time of year when everyone is focused on who they want to become next year. We all reflect on this year and the general consensus is somewhere between “I’m going to be better next year” or “I’m going to continue to soar to new heights next year.” Either way, we all come to the conclusion that we want the next year to be our best.
How can we make the next year of our lives? By setting up a plan and being intentional about what we want to accomplish and what are we going to do to make sure it happens. I created Plan Week so that you have a consistent place to go to figure all of this out.
Who Is Plan Week for?
Plan week is for anyone! Whether you are in college, working on a career, or a stay-at-home mom. You can participate even if you’ve already started thinking about 2020, or if you hadn’t even thought about it yet. Plan Week can be beneficial for anyone willing to take the time to do the prep work. The good news is you can put in as much work as you want to/have time for. Don’t feel rushed to have everything figured out by the 1st, but at least have an idea so you can start 2020 off right.
What do you mean by “work?”
I’m glad you asked. I’m excited to announce that I’m creating a special e-book for you. Although, you can really call it a workbook. The e-book is going to be full of great tips, fun activities and freebies, and, of course, inspirational quotes. I’ll have it ready for you to download at the end of the week right before New Year’s Eve.
What can I expect during Plan Week?
Last year, Plan Week was focused on overview planning. There weren’t necessarily any topics or certain areas of your life featured. This year I’m stepping it up more by including planning around topics like health and budgeting. You will be able to pair the two nicely. Be sure to check out last year’s Plan Week if you didn’t catch it last year or want a refresher.
I hope you will be joining me for all the fun. Comment down below with what you are most excited to see this week. I’ll see you back here tomorrow.

I like to plan because it helps me to be prepared for important events for me and thereby reduce the level of stress in my life.
